Supercell is looking for an experienced Team Lead to lead and grow the Corporate Communications Team based in Helsinki. You will be leading a small but mighty team of senior professionals and bringing strong leadership into a first-row seat at a global games company. You get to work with a set of stakeholders across our functions, making sure Supercell is positioned at the forefront of the industry, and building and managing the reputation of Supercell.

Not only will you be leading a team, but you will also influence the way we do PR & Communications at Supercell, bringing creativity and innovation as well as strategy to the global PR and Communications landscape – combining games, tech and culture. Your work will have an impact on how our hundreds of millions of monthly players and the general public perceive Supercell.

Responsibilities

• Global holistic PR & Communications strategy for Supercell
• Leadership of the small yet powerful PR & Comms team
• Creating, shaping and fostering a shared vision for the team
• Strategic thinking and strong execution against that vision
• Planning and executing goals with the team
• Team resource planning – also with external agency work
• Acting as the coach, mentor and sparring partner for the team
• Being the voice and face of the team to the rest of the company
• Being hands on – helping with tasks in the team and working on projects together, removing obstacles when needed
• Managing relationships with internal and external partners
• Contributing to Supercell brand work
• Promoting self-care and well-being in the team
• Identifying and building media relationships in the key focus areas of economics and technology

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar leading role within PR & Communications
• Proven track record of working with extensive corporate public relations, as well as crisis and reputation management
• Strong storytelling and writing skills
• Great organizational skills 
  and project management skills
• Strong communication, collaboration and feedback skills
• Strong improvement mindset, and a genuine interest in your own and your team’s self-development
• Sleeves up & hands on attitude, we don’t have any spectators here 🙂
• Previous experience working in an international environment
• Excellent English & Finnish language and communication skills
• A humble and curious approach to life in general
• A proactive yet flexible problem solving attitude in any situations
• Passion or interest for games, especially Supercell games
